Carrot’s Predictions
- Japanese Grand Prix 2010 Winner – Mark Webber.
- Japanese Grand Prix 2010 Pole Position – Mark Webber.
- Japanese Grand Prix 2010 Fastest Lap – Sebastian Vettel.
Vettel’s in a class of his own, but with the changeable weather and the pressure building in the championships I expect the Aussie to come through and take the important results. McLaren are on the back foot after Hamilton’s crash in the first session at Suzuka and with the general lack of pace in the car. It’ll take rain to bring Button and Hamilton into contention, only Alonso stands a chance of intruding on the internal Red Bull squabble if it stays dry.
Mark’s Predictions
- Japanese Grand Prix 2010 Winner – Sebastian Vettel.
- Japanese Grand Prix 2010 Pole Position – Mark Webber.
- Japanese Grand Prix 2010 Fastest Lap – Sebastian Vettel.
The Red Bull’s appear to be in a class of their own this weekend, but with the limited running yesterday and changeable weather it might be possible for Jenson Button to spring a surprise.
Euan’s Predictions
- Japanese 2010 Grand Prix Winner – Mark Webber. He has been in excellent form and now with Red Bull being the dominant car he will be top of the podium on Sunday.
- Pole Position – Sebastien Vettel. Once again Vettel will impress in qualifying but not so much in the race. he has been quick in practice and could well sting together another quick time.
- Fastest Lap – Mark Webber trying to get away from Vettel and Alonso.
- Other Predictions – Alonso will manage a podium place but it already looks like the race weekend will be heavily disrupted by rain, with qualifying being postponed until Sunday – although only just Sunday for U.K. residents!
