Hello Valencia

It’s the mid-season scuffle and it’s going to be a thrilling second half of the season with five potential title contenders.
Its Fernando’s home race but with the Prancing Horse not performing up to the level he would want it to, it is increasingly becoming an uphill struggle for him. The Red Bulls on the other end are seeing red with Webber and Vettel fighting it out among themselves. Will they repeat what they did in Turkey? Maybe, maybe not.
The MP-24 is scheduled to have an upgraded package but Lewis and Jenson are back in form and with the F-Duct working to their advantage, everything seems to be going the way Martin Whitmarsh would want it to go. Ferrari are bringing in an upgrade to Alonso’s car which may work against Alonso like it did for Liuzzi’s Force India.
It’s too early to say who will win and who will not but as is the custom, let me make my predictions for the race. Mind you, I will change my predictions after the first free practice but here I go.
I predict Alonso to win the race as he would have a one second advantage over the others because of Spanish war cry. Lewis will come a close second with Vettel taking the third place on the podium.
People to watch would be Webber, Button, Massa and Kubica although Rosberg and Sutil are bound to out perform their team mates and be worthy mid-pack racers.
See you soon people…let the race begin
