Carrot’s Predictions
- Monaco Grand Prix 2010 Winner – Jenson Button. My spies (read the BBC weather forecast) tell me it’s supposed to be dry on race day, I’m not convinced. I reckon we’ll have changeable conditions and there’s no-one better on the 2010 grid when the weather’s being annoying than Jense.
- Monaco Grand Prix 2010 Pole Position – Sebastian Vettel. The raw pace the Red Bulls showed in Spain is reduced by the nature of the circuit, but their advantage is such that I can’t imagine anyone other than Red Bull on pole should the final session run fine. Vettel over Webber to avenge the dominance shown in Spain.
- Monaco Grand Prix 2010 Fastest Lap – Jenson Button. If the race starts even mildly moist and doesn’t get dry. Otherwise Alonso, he’s been looking mighty on lower fuel and scrubbed tyres in practise.
- Other predictions – Qualifying to be red flagged. An incident at the Loews Hairpin on the first lap. Schumacher and Hamilton not to see the finish.
