Karun Chandhok Completes The Grid

India’s Karun Chandhok has today been announced as Bruno Senna’s team mate at Hispania Racing. Chandhok makes the step up from GP 2, where he won two races in the last three seasons.
The real issue here is that Hispania Racing will arrive in Bahrain for the first race of season with two drivers who have never raced in F1, driving a car which has not been tested. The FIA for this season has introduced a rule which allows drivers who have not competed in F1 during the previous two years to complete a days testing at an approved circuit which is not on the current F1 calendar. This was introduced to avoid scenarios such as that seen in 2009 when Jaime Alguersuari made his F1 debut having only driven an F1 car in straight-line testing.
The picture below of the Dallara designed car was posted by Bruno Senna on Twitter.

Is it me, or does the nose look a little bit Indy Car? Have Dallara delivered the right chassis?
