The tale of Friday Free Practice is hard to read from the times as Pirelli brought test tyres for next year which mixes up the data somewhat. What we do know is Vettel and Fernando Alonso ended up in the wall by turn one and both Ferraris have massive turn-in oversteer that is snapping the cars into spins. I still don’t think anyone can touch Vettel in qualifying, but the McLaren looks fast and more stable than either the Red Bull or the Ferrari so I’m giving fastest lap and race win to Button.
